The history of fashion through the costumes of La Fenice
Since it opened in 1792, La Fenice has been an iconic symbol of Venice. The stage costumes are an important part of the operas: these unique creations tells us the history of the Theatre and as well as Italian fashion.
Now La Fenice wants to put this history in the spotlight, with an exclusive exhibition of original stage costumes in our centre. From 28 january to 26th february enjoy the magic of the Operaand visit the precious exhibition of costumes, inspired by heroines of the Opera, testimonial of the history of fashion, through the costumes of La Fenice.
In the main square of the Centre you can discover the original costumes weared by main characters of La Vedova Scaltra, La Vedova Allegra, Norma, La traviata, L’africaine.
