The Adorno Quartet made itself known internationally by winning the Third Prize (with Primo not awarded), the Audience Award and the Special Prize for the best performance of the contemporary piece by Silvia Colasanti in the 2017 edition of the Paolo Borciani International Competition “. In the thirty-year history of the Competition, no Italian quartet had gained such an important recognition.
