Exactly fifty years after the 1966 high tide, La Fenice dedicates the inauguration of its Opera and Ballet Season 2016-2017 to the memory of that tragic episode in venetian history, with the first ever performance of Aquagranda,
a work commissioned to the composer Filippo Perocco on a novel by Roberto Bianchin and Luigi Cerantola taken from the book Acqua Granda.
The high tide novel by Roberto Bianchin. The musical direction of the new production will be entrusted to the baton of Marco Angius at the head of the Orchestra and Chorus of La Fenice theather, while Damiano Michieletto will take care of the direction of the staging.
