The Municipal Administration of Venice (with resolution of the City Council no. 51 of 12 September 2023 and amended by resolution of the City Council no. 71 of 21 December 2023), has adopted REGULATIONS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND DISCIPLINE OF AN ENTRANCE FEE, WITH OR WITHOUT A CARRIER, TO THE HISTORIC CITY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF VENICE AND THE OTHER MINOR ISLANDS OF THE LAGOON, by virtue of which:

• On an experimental basis on some weekends between April and July 2024 and for a total of 29 days, entrance to the Historic City of Venice will be subject to a fee, with online booking. The expected contribution is 5 euros per day, per person.
• The entry fee will be mandatory within the time frame from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Residents of the Municipality of Venice and those born in the Municipality of Venice are exempt from payment and do not require an exemption voucher, provided that they can prove their residence or birth by presenting a valid document. Residents of the metropolitan city of Venice and the Veneto region are exempt from paying the contribution but must acquire the exemption certificate.
• For children under the age of 14, exemption from payment is automatic.
• Holders of the European Disability Card (Disability Card) and their accompanying person are not required to pay the Entrance Fee. In the case of inspection, you will only need to present the Disability Card.
• From 25 April to 14 July 2024, on the following days, you will therefore be required to pay an entrance fee to Venice, unless you fall into categories that are exempt from payment:
  April: 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30;
  May: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26;
  June: 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30;
  July: 6, 7, 13 and 14.
  Any further information is available by consulting the portal https://cda.ve.it/it/ activated by the municipality of Venice where you can also book the ticket or request exemption and download a QR CODE that will certify payment of the ticket that must be exhibited during random inspection.

As of today, with regard to the performances already scheduled, the obligation of the entrance fee or to show your ID or exemption voucher will only affect two dates programmed in our Theatre, namely:
DON GIOVANNI at Teatro la Fenice:
1) Sunday 19/05/24 at 3.30 pm season ticket cycle B;
2) Saturday 25/05/24 at 3.30 pm season ticket cycle C.

Spectators will instead be able to access the City from 4.00 pm on without paying the entrance fee or in any case without the obligation of having to show their exemption certificate for the following shows:

• KOCHANOVSKY CONCERT – Teatro Malibran Sunday 05/05/24 at 17.00 season ticket cycle U;
• IL BAJAZET (IL TAMERLANO) – Teatro Malibran: Sunday 09/06/24 at 17.00 season ticket cycle B, Saturday 15/06/24 at 17.00 season ticket holder cycle C;
• SARDELLI CONCERT – Teatro Malibran on Sunday 16/06/24 at 17.00 season ticket cycle U;
• ARIADNE AUF NAXOS – Teatro La Fenice: Sunday 23/06/24 at 5.00 pm season ticket cycle B, Sunday 30/06/24 at 5.00 pm season ticket holder cycle C;
• STENZ CONCERT – Teatro La Fenice Sunday 07/07/24 at 17.00 season ticket cycle U.
