The Swedish super pianist Jacob Karlzon, who has long since established his name as one of Esbjørn Svensson’s most important heirs, has released a number of critically acclaimed records for such large record companies as ACT and Warner;
One of European Jazz’s most central figures, saxophonist Benjamin Koppel, has with his almost 60 albums as a soloist and his collaborations with such big names as Joe Lovano, Kenny Werner, Brian Blade, Jim Hall and Randy Brecker time and time again shown his great artistic embrace and virtuosity.
Swedish drummer Magnus Ôström really made his name internationally with his work in the style-creating and iconic jazz trio E.S.T. but has also marked himself strongly as a soloist with several releases in his own name. He has also worked with artists like Pat Metheny and Benny Golson and demonstrates with his multifaceted and unique play that he is undoubtedly one of Europe’s most important drummers
