For more than a decade Giovanni Guidi has been a reference artist of the legendary ECM label, founded by Manfred Eicher. His explorations and collaborations have crossed landscapes that move from more lyrical and sparse tones to free and uncompromising improvisation, from careful readings of tradition to more open, dialogic, abstract and experimental approaches.
