Being one of the leading names in European jazz stages for many years with warm, melodic ambiance he creates, Swedish cello and contrabass virtuoso Lars Danielsson, meets up with Grégory Privat, the rising star of jazz in Europe.

Including classical and pop elements in his masterfully interpreted ‘nordic sounds’, Danielsson broadened the borders of jazz and recorded 10 albums with his quartet together with David Liebman, Bobo Stenson and Jon Christensen. First of all with his wife Caecilie Norby, he was involved in several projects with key musicians with his compositions and arrangements.
