Forty years of music together is a program that presents a small part of the works that in these years have been performed as a world premiere or dedicated to the Ex Novo Ensemble. And it well defines the panorama of music in Italy through its most representative protagonists. In fact, the concert opens with Salvatore Sciarrino’s The inverse space which, as if to witness the evolutionary parabola of Italian music, also closes the concert with Arioso at 5 in 2018, going through the different languages of composers whose authority does not need of presentation such as: Giacomo Manzoni, Aldo Clementi, Ludovico Einaudi, Claudio Ambrosini. Finally, the icing on the cake – how we could have neglected the impelling topicality – the first complete absolute performance of the work Five Movements by Alessandro Solbiati.
